Which installation option should I choose?

If you're an Email Signature Rescue member, you will have a signature key and a HTML email signature file. You should use our signature installer app as it makes the installation process simple and prevents user error during install.
The bonus of using the signature installer app is that it features auto-update functionality and will automatically update your signature in your email client whenever changes are made to it via Email Signature Rescue, preventing the need to re-install.
Basic Guide
If you have a html signature file then you can follow the Basic Guide if desired.
The Basic Guide is a simple installation which requires you to copy your email signature from your web browser and pasting it into your Outlook for Mac 2019 email client with the source formatting.

Installing your email signature via the app
Install your email signature once, then never worry again. Our signature installer app for macOS features auto-update functionality which syncs your email signature with our software, allowing it to automatically update when changes are made from your Email Signature Rescue account.

Open the Email Signature Rescue Installer app and click the ( + ) button to add a new signature.
Step Two
Select your email client.

Select the email account you want to install your email signature into.
Step Four
Proseries 20440. Paste your email signature key. If you have HTML file instead of a key, click Use File, then click and select your saved HTML email signature file.
5Step Five
Select to insert for replies/forwards if you would like, then click Install Signature.
Step Six
The app will install your email signature into your email client for you, and automatically update it if changes are made to it by the Email Signature Rescue account holder.

Install: Basic Guide (Copy & Paste)
Our Basic Guide
Step One
Open your email signature in your web browser and press Cmd + A to select the signature, then press Cmd + C to copy it.

Switch to Outlook for Mac 2019 and from the top toolbar, select Outlook > Preferences.
Step Three
From your Outlook Preferences window, select Signatures.
4Step Four
With your Signatures window open, go ahead and create a new signature by clicking the + icon.
Step Five
Enter a name for your email signature, then delete the text below and press Cmd + V to paste your copied email signature.
Once your email signature has been pasted, you should see a clipboard icon at the bottom right of it, you may need to hover over the signature for it to appear. Click the clipboard and select Keep Source Formatting. This will ensure that your email signature uses our code and doesn't re-format back to using Outlook's code.
6Step Six
Close out of the window and click Save Changes. Then set your new email signature as your default in the bottom of the Signatures window.
Congratulations! Your email signature is now installed and ready to use!

My email signature isn't displaying correctly

Troubleshooting: Where do I find my email signature key?
- If you are an Email Signature Rescue member and are logged into your account, you can find your key on your dashboard.
- If you have been emailed your signature key, go to the email and you'll find your 12 character key there.
- If your email signature is managed by an account administrator or reseller, please get in touch with them and have them supply you with your signature key.
Troubleshooting: Where do I find my email signature HTML file?
- If you are an Email Signature Rescue member and are logged into your account, you can download your HTML file from your dashboard or view it by selecting Full Screen Preview.
- If you have been emailed your signature file, open the email and you'll find it attached.

You can create prepared text, called a signature, to include when you send email messages. For example, you can create one signature for your work email and another signature for your personal email.
Create signatures
Mac Mail Signature
- In the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures.
- In the left column, select the email account where you want to use the signature.If All Signatures is selected when you create a signature, you’ll need to drag the new signature to an email account before you can use it.
- Click the Add button below the middle column.
- In the middle column, type a name for the signature.The name appears in the Signature pop-up menu when you write a message.
- In the right column (the preview), create your signature.You can use the Edit or Format menus in Mail to change the font or layout, turn text into links, or check spelling. To add an image, drag it into the preview area.
If you want your signature to appear after the original text of messages you reply to or forward, deselect the “Place signature above quoted text” tickbox.
Delete signatures
- In the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures.
- Select a signature in the middle column, then click the Remove button .
When you delete a signature from All Signatures, it’s deleted from any account that uses it.
Automatically add a signature to emails
You can choose a signature to automatically add to messages you send.
- In the Mail app on your Mac, choose Mail > Preferences, then click Signatures.
- Select an account in the left column.
- Click the Choose Signature pop-up menu, then choose a signature.If you have more than one signature for an account, Mail can automatically alternate between them — choose At Random or In Sequential Order from the pop-up menu.
If you want to stop having a signature automatically added to your messages, click the Choose Signature pop-up menu, then choose None.

Add a signature to emails yourself
- In the Mail app on your Mac, click the Signature pop-up menu in the message you’re writing.
- Choose a signature.If you don’t see an expected signature in the pop-up menu, choose Edit Signatures to open Signatures preferences and verify the signature is in the account.
Remove a signature from emails
- In the Mail app on your Mac, in a message you’re writing, click the Signature pop-up menu.
- Choose None.
How To Create A Signature In Outlook Mac 2016
Depending on how a recipient’s mail server handles signatures, your signature may appear as an attachment or image to the recipient.
If you use iCloud Drive on your Mac and other devices, and have Mail selected in iCloud Drive options, your signatures are automatically updated and available on those devices. See Use iCloud Drive to store documents.
